At Melanated Beauty Depot, Shamaine takes pride in owning and sustaining a Black-owned business catering to individuals with coily, curly, kinky, and wavy hair textures. Our mission is to provide high-quality hair care products that promote healthy hair growth, reduce shedding, and nourish the scalp. Although Shamaine started with the idea of hair care alone, she realized many things in small cities and rural areas could utilize a resource for products they could easily access at home. 
Shamaine established Melanated Beauty Depot Inc. on July 11, 2023, while living in New Brunswick and fighting against racial adversity from her "day job." The store specializes in offering products that cater to the unique needs of individuals with textured hair.
